NATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Detertecnica carries out worldwide shipments, with the exception of some product categories and some particular areas.

For shipments on the Italian territory, it uses 2 different couriers:

  • GLS and BRT for National Express Shipping with times ranging from 24 to 72 hours and a 2-day supplement for the so-called, disadvantaged locations (Minor Islands, Venice, Lagoon, etc.);

For smaller islands, Venice, the lagoon and other destinations defined by couriers, shipping costs are higher than the chosen service, which will be defined at the time of checkout. For this reason, Detertecnica has the right to decide to cancel the order if the shipping costs do not meet the minimum standards to be able to process the order.

Not all product categories benefit from the international shipping service, for reasons related to the internal policies of the shipper. During the purchase phase, it will be explicitly indicated with the following wording "The selected products cannot be delivered by the courier. Please modify the cart."

Transport costs are carriage forward and are automatically calculated when the cart is filled, according to the real or volumetric weight.

Deliveries are made within the first working day following receipt of the order (excluding Saturday, Sunday and National holidays).

For all Extra Shipping Services such as delivery to the floor, hourly delivery, telephone notice, etc., there is an additional financial supplement which can only be quoted after the order confirmation, and must be expressly indicated in the section dedicated to comments.

The Storage Costs of the package due to a "missed recipient", "incorrect or incomplete address" or generally "incomplete data" attributable to the recipient, will be entirely charged to the recipient.

If the package for any reason should return to the sender, or is refused by the sender, Detertecnica will have the right to reimburse the customer in the following 14 days, deducting any costs incurred for this order. (stock, shipping cost and returns cost).

In the presence of the courier, the buyer is obliged to check that the number of packages delivered corresponds to what is indicated on the waybill, that the packaging is not visibly damaged, nor tampered with, nor altered in the sealing seals (personalized adhesive tape) .
In the event of such an event occurring, the Customer may not accept the delivery or accept it "with reserve". Once the Courier's document has been signed, it will not be able to make any dispute concerning this delivery.

Even if the packaging is intact, the goods must be checked within eight days of receipt. Any hidden damages or anomalies must be reported in writing by registered letter with return receipt to Detertecnica Via Vecchia Lecce, 32 - 73020 Melpignano (LE).

No responsibility can be attributed to Detertecnica in case of delay in the order fulfillment or in the delivery of the ordered goods. The delivery times of the goods are purely indicative and may vary due to force majeure, due to the road conditions in general and by an act of authority, as well as during holidays.

The shipment will be tracked by a tracking code provided directly by the shipper and attached to your order. The buyer will check the status of the shipment and possibly interact directly with the courier to agree on the delivery or possible redelivery.

Detertecnica only has the possibility of intermediation to speed up the delivery process, but it does not constitute an obligation on its part.

The buyer can check the progress of the order by entering his account in the Section - History and Order Details.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

For international shipments, we use two leading Express Couriers in Europe and the rest of the world.

  • For Standard Shipments Abroad we use GLS Parcel and Fedex. Parcel is the fast door-to-door truck service of excellence. It connects over 30 European countries with deliveries of packages up to 40 kg. Thanks to Parcel, Europe is closer! Deliveries are made in 48 hours in the European Economic Centers: Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg (starting from the payment date and compatibly with the availability of the product); while in the most distant European countries, delivery takes place in 72/96 hours.
  • For Express Shipping Abroad we work with DHL. With the Express Worldwide Service we cover over 220 countries worldwide. Door-to-door delivery takes place by the end of the working day following collection or on the first possible day. On request it is possible to make delivery in storage free of charge.

The packing time is 1 working day and is unchanged for both couriers.

For any shipment it is not possible to specify a time within which the goods must reach their destination. For certain destinations only, it is possible to request the hourly delivery service which provides an economic supplement which can be estimated at the time of the order.

For International Shipments, outside the European Union, there may be additional costs that will be charged to the recipient of the goods. The costs could derive from customs duties and taxes applied by the country of destination based on the rates in force at the time of shipment. With the purchase of our products, the recipient automatically agrees to take on all costs deriving from the transaction. Detertecnica is relieved of any responsibility deriving from additional costs applied. If the customer should refuse the goods, Detertecnica will not issue a refund to the recipient.

Calculation of duties
Regardless of whether the shipment can be a gift or not, it is still subject to customs laws in the country of destination. The shipment is cleared through customs based on the country of origin, value and quantity, but not for the reason for export. For shipments that are subject to customs duties, a fee or a fee related to the transportation of goods across international borders must be paid.

The calculation of duties depends on the value of the property subject to tax. For the purpose of this calculation, goods are identified by a classification code known as the Harmonized System code. The system is regulated by the World Customs Organization and is constantly evolving.

Taxation at the Frontiers
Taxes are imposed on goods when they cross a political border (although there are some free zones in the world). Taxes are usually associated with protectionism and the economic policy that regulates and restricts trade between states. Normally, taxes are imposed on imported goods, however sometimes they can also be imposed on exported goods.

Who is responsible for paying duties and taxes?
The payment of customs duties and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient.

RETURNS

The buyer who intends to return the purchased products can access their account in the Order History - Details - Make a Return note section, flagging the products they wish to return specifying the reason.

To view the progress of the return, you will need to log in to your account in the Return of my goods - Package status section.

The goods can be returned directly to any Detertecnica store without incurring any additional costs (Maglie - Detertecnica Store | Via Nicola Ferramosca, 159 or Detertecnica | Melpignano - Via Vecchia Lecce, 32) or shipped via any courier, to be paid by the buyer. , enabled to issue the traceability code at: Detertecnica di Cesari Maurizio, Via Vecchia Lecce, 32 - 73020 Melpignano (LE) - Italy.

The goods must be returned intact, in the original packaging, complete in all its parts and complete with the attached tax documentation. Without prejudice to the right to verify compliance with the above, Detertecnica will refund the amount of the products subject to withdrawal within a maximum period of 14 days using the same payment method chosen by the buyer during the purchase. In the case of payment made by bank transfer, and if the buyer intends to exercise his right of withdrawal, he will have to provide the bank details: IBAN, SWIFT and BIC necessary for making the refund

From 14 October 2019 it will be possible to take advantage of the FREE PAYPAL RETURN SERVICE!

In order to use this service, the purchase must be made exclusively through the Paypal account. The buyer must then register a new account or use an existing one, containing the payment method (credit card, debit card, Postepay, etc.) from which he can then request the return.

The User can send a "Request for reimbursement of shipping costs" for the return within 30 calendar days from the shipment of the object in accordance with the terms and conditions of these General Conditions and the procedures published from time to time by PayPal (See following).

To request a return, simply log into your PayPal account and select the transaction relating to the item you have returned. Click "Transaction details> Request a refund of the return shipping costs" and retrieve all the documents indicated in the form.
If any documents are not provided, you will have another 14 days from the initial date of the refund request to upload it.
To modify the request, log in to your account, select the transaction relating to the item you have returned and click "Request a refund of the return shipping costs".

The Free Return function will NOT be applied in the event that the entire payment transaction has not been transited through a Paypal account, or if the item arrives damaged (in this case, please contact our Customer Service).

Certain limitations (maximum number of returns, maximum amount, etc.) that are specified in the General Conditions are applied to this Service.

Detertecnica is relieved of any liability from the moment the Free Return Service is offered exclusively by Paypal in collaboration with Telus International. Detertecnica, therefore, cannot in any way make a "Free Return Request" in the name and on behalf of the buyer. The service providers are left with the option to refuse the return request. Detertecnica remains only the obligation to reimburse the price of the object paid (if the condition of the goods is intact) and then returned by the buyer, excluding the initial transport costs that the company took on to ship the item.

REPLACEMENT

As regards the Replacements, the procedure remains unchanged with respect to the Return procedure; it will only be the concern of the buyer to specify in detail the return with which product he intends to replace the purchased item. The costs of delivery to the sender and new shipment remain entirely at the expense of the buyer.
